Castletown Golf Club

No.19 reports

Dear Members,

As always, thank you for your continued support from all at No.19.

It was a pleasure to host the Ladies Dinner the other week and the Men’s Dinners this Friday promises to be another superb evening! Please note that the restaurant will be closed during the day on Friday to allow us to prepare for the evening.

Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st October the kitchen is closed for general maintenance and we would very much appreciate your patience on these two days.

Mindful that most of you golf on Saturday, we are offering some hearty options during the autumnal months each Saturday with Caroline’s homemade pies proving very popular, and we will continue to serve these up as the winter sets in, along with some new and old alternatives.

Christmas Day: We are starting to have a lot of enquiries for the 25th December, and at £65pp (£35 for under 12’s) for such a fantastic menu it will prove to be a great day. So if you are looking for somewhere lovely and friendly to eat on this festive day, get in touch.

Your Personal Wine Service: Don’t forget that Will offers some fantastic wines at retail prices starting from £6.95; the website is in the process of being updated with some excellent wines at exceptional prices, and we will have some fantastic Christmas offers shortly.

Beaujolais Day: To celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau 2017, we will be hosting a great event on Friday 17th Nov, and the Beaujolais has just been ordered! We will be starting the “Team Event” with Croissants etc. pre-golf, followed by a classic French meal and Beaujolais. The Club will be finalising this very soon so make sure you mark Fri 17th Nov in your diary for the resurrection of a great day which used to be one of the highlights of the year!

All the very best, Will and the team.
