The Remembrance Sunday winner, straight hitting Steven Boyd (2), struck six birdies and kept a six off his card. O’MAHONY MAKES MONEY ON THE OLD COURSE
We played a Stableford in the old course layout at Castletown last Saturday. Anthony O’Mahony (9) began with a bogey but then burnt up the course to finish at four over even after incurring a two shot putting penalty. DANIEL LAUGHLIN CUT EIGHT SHOTS IN TWO WONDERFUL WEEKS
Having just won the Aon Trophy with 47 points Daniel Laughlin audaciously added the Syd Ashworth Cup to his collection. Laughlin (20) began with a birdie and ignoring an N/R on the Road Hole, and another on the 14th, he completed the course in just six over par.
