No 19 one of the best restaurants in Castletown Isle of Man, where we endeavour to use local Manx ingredients wherever possible, such as fresh Derbyhaven Bay caught lobster and crab, Cooil Bros fresh cream and milk, Coole Girl Free Range eggs, Manx Ices, local cheeses and Manx meat. Our fresh bread is baked locally and our fantastic selection of cakes and scones are produced in our kitchen. Our coffee is roasted in the parish and our wines are carefully chosen by your host Will Halsall owner of Your Personal Wine Service.
Catering for Events
The first floor of the clubhouse has a bar with a wood-burning stove, leather sofa’s, and large elongated tables that assist with interaction and lend a cosy feel to the place. We also have a large Smart TV that can be used for multiple purposes including showing presentations. The venue boasts natural light with stunning views across Derbyhaven bay, the 1st and 18th fairways, and views of the Irish Sea. It is easily accessible from the airport, has free parking and its free standing location makes it an excellent venue for a function.

Sunday 19th August 2018
Multi-times golfer of the year Dennis Moore (10) re-emerged to win the Club sponsored Stableford with 40 points at Castletown on Saturday. Moore N/R’d the 2nd and double bogeyed the Road Hole but completed the remainder in a solid three over par. Four pointer birdies on the 4th and 6th helped him turn with 19 and a procession of pars and nett pars added 21 on the back nine.

Jonathan Wild (17), who is having lessons with Charlie Simpson, was the runaway winner on an outstanding +10 in the club sponsored Bogey competition at Castletown on Saturday. Opening with a birdie Wild recorded two more in an amazing one under gross par front nine. A late couple of double bogeys were Wild’s only negatives so he finished with 77, nett 58, after application of a two stroke mixed tee amendment.

Former captain Chris Kelly was delighted to secure the SMP Partners sponsored monthly Medal by one shot with an 85, nett 64, at Castletown on Saturday. Putting with aplomb Kelly birdied the 2nd and the 17th and was particularly pleased with his long iron approach shots which led to seven pars and five bogeys. Bunker blues and chunky chips accounted for six shots squandered over the 6th and the 7th. Kelly also lost another four with double bogeys on the 3rd and the 12th.
