Mizuno remain at the pinnacle of golf club manufacturing, as they have done for decades, and it’s great to see a reunion with Sir Nick Faldo who was such a brilliant ambassador for the brand throughout his playing career.
We also have the full range of JPX 900 irons available for members to try, as used by 2017 US Open winner, Brooks Koepka! Mizuno use technology in these heads that other brands simply don’t have. The result is a range of clubs that offer beautiful looks, ultimate forgiveness, and also the ability to generate incredible ball speeds and relative distance. They are clubs that can be used by players who are new to the game right down to the very best in the world. With more tour professionals (that aren’t forced to use specific brands through endorsement deals) choosing Mizuno than any other brand, the company is a force to be reckoned with in the game. Not only will the custom fit system provide the best club for you, unlike other brands Mizuno do not charge additional amounts to build the club with the best shaft for your game and your favourite grip.
Course Open. If using a trolley or buggy, please avoid any areas which are particularly wet. Apologies and many thanks for your cooperation.

Andrew McGee (20) had the game of his life in the first round of this year’s SMP Partners sponsored medal series at Castletown on Saturday. Shooting a nett 67 is something special. Doing it with an 11 on your card is amazing.

There was a two way tie on 42 points in the Captain’s Drive-In on Saturday. Winning the specially minted commemorative medal was the smooth swinging Steven Glynn (21) who is now off (19) but is destined to be lower.Glynn, who in February won the third round of the Winter League Stableford, has been having lessons with Charlie Simpson and is more consistent now. There were a few three putts and the odd duff shot which restricted his Stableford score on the 5th, 11th and 15th but a four pointer nett eagle on the 14th proved crucial on countback.
Sunday 1st April 2018
Ian Hodgkinson (18) who was one of only four players to meet or beat their handicap. His winning 39 points was both back nine biased and heavily influenced by wind direction. Hodgkinson hit a real purple patch from the 13th to the 15th where he sunk a bountiful birdie 2 for four points and followed it up with two nett birdies. Facing the full force of the wind it was a case of hit and hope on the last three holes but three 5’s for five points saw Hodgkinson home safely.
